The J.P. Logistics Warehouse Management System is designed to maximize both workflow and visibility.
Receiving, storage and shipping are all managed through our WMS. Advanced shipping notifications are matched to actual goods received. Goods are put away in defined bin locations. Outbound P.O.'s are converted to pick tickets and once picked and verified, shipping memos are created and transmitted to the customer with tracking information. Every facet of the operation is tracked from start to finish.
Transaction invoicing and monthly storage invoices are all generated online for unprecedented accuracy and timely management.
You have access via a dedicated login. Our WMS allows you to manage inbound and outbound shipping, view a range of management reports in real-time and keep track of invoicing and daily transaction details.
JP Logistics utilizes complete Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes as part of its Warehouse Management System.
EDI Document | To\From | Description |
856 | Shipper to Warehouse | The EDI 856 transaction, commonly called the Advance Ship Notice or ASN, is sent in advance of a shipment arriving at the other trading partner’s facility. |
944 | Warehouse to Shipper | The EDI 944 Warehouse Stock Transfer Receipt Advice transaction set acknowledges to a manufacturer that its transfer shipment has been received. |
947 | Warehouse to Shipper | The EDI 947 Warehouse Inventory Adjustment Advice contains the format and the data contents of the inventory adjustment. |
940 | Shipper to Warehouse | The EDI 940 Warehouse Shipping Order instructs the warehouse to ship orders. |
945 | Warehouse to Shipper | The EDI 945 Warehouse Shipping Advice provides confirmation of a shipment. |
We integrate our WMS with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) file formats, XML and other text formats communicating via FTP, email and other file transfer mechanisms.
And we still use the phone and fax as needed.
